Dr. R. rangarajan is one of the most informative and inspiring speakers I have ever had the pleasure to hear.

I am always amazed when I meet someone who has had a career in medicine or science. I’ve always been a skeptic, but today I was so impressed that I feel like I’m going to take a class in the future.

I met Dr. R. for the first time when I was working at a major medical university in the US. I was in the process of starting grad school in the field of biostatistics and I was very impressed with how he had come up with some new ideas for how to analyze data. I was amazed that he had the vision to use the latest scientific techniques to show how the world was already filled with disease, and how there might actually be treatments for it.

Actually, I think Dr. R. is totally right. He was quite a big fan of the method of analyzing data, and his enthusiasm for analysis was impressive. But I think it’s a little bit difficult to be a scientist at the level of a doctor in the field of biostatistics.

I think the problem is we tend to think we are scientists. We think we know how to analyze data, but it is not the case. We are in the realm of science when we look at data and find something that we think is important, we publish it, and wait for the results. But in reality, we are not scientists. The reason we have a lot of publications is because we do a lot of data analysis, and we have a lot of papers.

In the field of biostatistics, the data is not the issue. The issue is the conclusions we draw from the data. This is where the big guns are. The big guns are the methods that we use, and the data we use.
