It is the most common question I get asked when I interview new homeowners. I get people asking me why I do my interviews. They want a simple answer, a few more details, or one of the other reasons I love doing interviews. My answer is simple and straightforward. I love helping people to better themselves by helping them to become more aware of themselves.
Ashley Songer is an expert in the field of self-awareness. She has been working with the American Foundation for Self-awareness (AFOA) for over a decade and is dedicated to helping others to become more aware of themselves. I first met Ashley after I interviewed her the other day for this book, where I asked her a couple of questions about what it takes to become more aware.
Ashley shared a bit of her background and how she came to be an expert in the field, but I’ve always been interested in her work because I found her interesting. She is a tall, athletic, and very smart lady. She started her career as a high school English teacher and is now a full-time writer and coach. I’ve been following her work for a few years and really appreciate her work.
Ashley has created a number of things that are very useful for people of all levels, even if they don’t have as many experience or knowledge as I do. I really enjoyed her talk on how to become more aware of your thoughts and emotions. I like how she shared how to use the different ways of learning to become more aware of yourself. She also talked about using different techniques on different levels of awareness and how to apply these techniques in a wide variety of situations.

I can think of no better way to spend a Friday afternoon than reading a book, and while it is one of the least useful ways to learn, it is a pretty fun one. I can think of a few books that I have read and loved that I would love to do with mindfulness. I would suggest that you read a book about mindfulness and read those that are about reading.
