I like the idea of a Day in the Life session, but won't it be awkward having a stranger in my house taking photos?
But not for long. We'll warm up to each other and you'll probably forget I'm there after an hour or so.
How much do I need to clean?
This about real life, so however clean or messy your house is on a typical day is just fine with me.
Are you shooting the entire time?
For morning in the life and two hour vacation sessions, yes. For longer sessions, I break for meals. I'm not snap-happy every minute of the day, so don't worry about feeling like the paparazzi has invaded your home. More often than not I'll be watching and waiting for the perfect (or not so perfect!) moments.
Do I need to feed you?
I will provide my own breakfast and lunch, but I'll have whatever you're having for dinner.
Do you do newborn shoots?
I do! These are considered Morning in the Life sessions and are approached in the same documentary style. These aren't the traditional newborn sessions where you give the baby three different outfit changes and pose in front of the window in the nursery; I'm more interesting in capturing the real, raw beauty of bringing a new baby home.
I don't live in Raleigh, do you travel?
Do you still shoot weddings?
I do, though only a small handful per year. I'm focusing on smaller, more intimate weddings that are focused more on moments than traditions. For more information, click here or shoot me an email.
