February is my least favorite month. January is snapping the tags off new clothes and writing out goal lists and burning fresh candles. February is the ashy grey snow that piles on the sidewalks and just won't melt away.
February is shaping up to be my slowest month since opening my business in September, and that's okay, that was expected. It's nice to have time, finally, to work on side projects and take online classes and try new recipes. But still, it's hard to wait.
I have big dreams for the spring. Dreams of buying our first home and opening an in-home studio. It's hard to have dreams that I can't really work towards, not yet anyway. This whole photography journey has been nothing but hustling, but now I'm realizing that some things only come with time and patience.
