The thing about being in love is that you can recognize so quickly when another couple is, too; like, really, truly meant-for-each-other-in-love. It's like some weird sixth sense you suddenly have where you can look at a couple and just "know".
And these two aren't even engaged, but it only took an hour of watching them through a camera lens to see that there's something special about these two; their easy laughs, the way they hold each others gaze...magic. I kept wanting to tell them what a great job they were doing, but that almost felt wrong because they weren't performing, they were simply being them, which is the very best thing a photographer can hope for. We met up on a cold, cloudy December evening but they lit these frames up like a summer afternoon.
