NEWBORN SESSION - HOSPITAL

Newborn hospital sessions (often called "Fresh 48" sessions) take place within the first day or two of your little one's life. This is probably my favorite way to capture a new life - with Mom still in a hospital gown, Dad sipping crappy hospital coffee, beaming at this little person he finally gets to meet and hold. These sessions are all about capturing your simple, sweet first moments as a family. These sessions are short and sweet and last no more than an hour.

Newborn hospital sessions are $200 and include up to an hour of shooting, at least thirty edited images in an online, downloadable gallery, and printing rights.

NEWBORN SESSION - AT HOME

Unlike posed newborn sessions, at-home lifestyle sessions can really happen anytime. I prefer to do them 2 - 4 weeks after the birth, when baby is more alert, able to focus her eyes better and beginning to show her sweet little personality. These sessions are mostly documentary style, meaning I'll capture you and your little one just as you are, with no props or complicated posing. That said, I do have a variety of blankets as well as a Moses basket I bring along if you're interested in using them. Newborn sessions usually take around two hours, and I leave plenty of room for changing and feeding breaks. I currently schedule newborn shoots on Fridays and Saturdays.

In-home newborn sessions are $400 and include two hours of shooting, at least fifty edited images in an online, downloadable gallery, and printing rights.
