Hi there, I'm Heather!
I've always been the shy kid, the quiet girl with her nose in a book. For years I hated that about myself, but now that I'm a photographer I can finally see that my wallflower tendencies are perhaps my greatest strength as an artist. I love nothing more than blending into a background, observing the story in front of me, and capturing the beauty of it just as it is.
I am a storyteller at heart, and there's something so meaningful to me about the privilege of meeting so many incredible people and telling their story in a tangible way that they can enjoy for the rest of their lives.

I'm a twenty-seven year old pastor's wife living in Raleigh, North Carolina. I love going for adventures around the city and then coming home to a stack of library books and mug of coffee. Every night I pretend to cook dinner until my husband comes to the rescue and puts together something edible. I was an English major in college, and then went through several odd jobs before God put photography in my lap. After somewhat miraculously acquiring my first DSLR camera (it's a long story, ask me about it), I spent a year cleaning houses while I learned the basics of photography as well as how to start a business, figure out my style and, most importantly, tell a story from the heart. I am happy to say that it paid off and I am finally doing what I feel called to do. It's the most fun I've ever had.
